What is a compromise agreement?
A compromise agreement also known as a settlement agreement is a legally binding agreement either during or following the termination of your employment and which brings your employment to an end. It is recognised by statute and it is the only way you can validly "contract out" of your employment law rights.

How much does it cost?
Your employer should be expected to pay the legal costs between £300 – £500 (plus VAT) depending on the nature and complexity of the case. These fees are likely to cover all legal aspects of a straightforward case. However in more complicated cases your employer may be required to pay upto £2000.We always attempt to cover all our legal fees from your employer instead of you ‘ our client.
